Description
Résumé:The cognitive, emotional, physical, gendered, sexual, and spiritual dimensions of human nature and experience are inseparable and intricate parts of every education anchored in religion. Incorporating her own learning journey stories, particularly her failure experiences, the author invites religious educators to delve into critical dialogues and studies on human sexuality and gender identities as an essential part of holistic religious education. Highlighting the daunting statistics of the presence of sexual violence survivors in higher education and faith communities, she particularly invites readers to be in dialogue with trauma-informed pedagogy and gender and sexuality studies that lack at recognizing the importance of religion in human formation.
