| Résumé: | After preliminary reflections on the understanding of peace (1.), two examples from Egypt and Assur reveal the particular and relative notion of peace, as is typical for the Ancient Near East (2.). This also applies to the Biblical concepts of peace (3.), which, despite their diversity, exhibit a fundamental orientation towards Zion and demonstrate that, here too, peace means much more than non-war. Nach einführenden Überlegungen zum Verständnis von Frieden (1.) profilieren zwei Beispiele aus Ägypten und Assyrien die partikular und relativ vorgenommene Vorstellung von Frieden, wie sie für den alten Orient typisch ist (2.). Dies gilt auch für die biblischen Friedens-Konzeptionen (3.), die bei aller Vielfalt, eine grundlegende Zionsorientierung aufweisen und belegen, dass Frieden auch hier wesentlich mehr bedeutet alsNicht-Krieg. |
