| Zusammenfassung: | Many Christian traditions and rituals stem from Jewish traditions. Therefore, it seems possible to find analogies between Jewish and Christian traditions and rituals. The article discusses how Jewish ›ordination‹ works. It explores the Jewish imposition of hands, the experience of the Spirit, and the mission in Jewish faith. The discussion includes Qumran literature as well as the question whether women can become Rabbies. As similar as Christian and Jewish ›ordinations‹ may be, yet they differ substantially. They are comparable, but not identical. |
