Résumé:The purpose of this paper is to provide an in-depth study of Pushou Temple to examine the achievements of bhiksunis in terms of Dharma practice, education, and charitable work in contemporary China. Although it presents a case study on just one order of bhiksunis, the author hopes to demonstrate that the practices of this order is significant for bhiksunis throughout contemporary China.
