Dans cette contribution, après un bref commentaire sur la méthode utilisée, une lecture engagée du récit biblique de Lazare montre comment la réflexion spirituelle peut faire réfléchir aux raisons de rester dans une relation signifiante avec des amis atteints de démence. | ||
| 520 | |a The testimonies of people living with Alzheimer's disease are nearly unanimous: when one's live is turned upside down by illness, the sick person is abandoned by friends and condemned to a kind of social death. In this context, voices from various sectors of society are calling for a change in perspective regarding the sick person. This reconsideration of Alzheimer's disease is a work of cultural transformation in which the Christian churches have a role to play. In this article, after a brief commentary on the method used, a committed reading of the biblical account of Lazarus shows how spiritual reflection can lead us to reflect on how to remain in a meaningful relationship with friends suffering from dementia. | ||
