Zusammenfassung:Contrary to previous studies, results indicated that Mennonite university students ("conservative Protestants") were in significantly greater agreement with parental religious teachings than were United Church students ("liberal Protestants"), with Roman Catholic students being intermediate. The reported emphasis placed on religion in the childhood home was only partially related to these differences in agreement. Several measures of religious beliefs and practices were also examined, and the present findings are discussed in light of seemingly contradictory previous studies.
