Résumé: | This article highlights the relationship between recent developments in digital communication and education. Moving from a continuous position on the history of the media, it reconstructs the evolution of contemporary media by showing how they have been conceptualized as instruments, environments and connective tissue. Media Literacy, in this context, should be thought of as a system of technological skills, language and citizenship. In closing it provides an operational declination by indicating four preferential attentions (space, time, relation, content) that are then distributed in a different evolutionary age according to the suggestion of Serge Tisseron.
