Nicht nur was, wo, wann zu sehen ist, bietet dieses "Reiselexikon" (in der Reihe bereits "Alte Apotheken ...", BA 1/93; K. Freymann: "Eisenbahn", BA 5/94 und C. Pfeiffer-Belli: "Uhren ...", ID 3/93), es macht mit über 100 Abbildungen auch reichlich Appetit. Außer "barocken Adressen" wurden auch - allerdings zu wenige - moderne Häuser (z.B. Münster) aufgenommen. Innerhalb der 3 Teile (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz) alphabetisch nach Orten abfolgende Artikel u.a. mit Angaben zu Kontaktpersonen, Benutzungs- und Besichtigungsmodalitäten (Führungen), Funktion, Sammelgebieten, Zimelien und Geschichte.
