| Zusammenfassung: | This collaborative paper explores the "many little deaths" that are essential in answering some of the questions raised about the engagement of grief and mourning in a psychoanalytic treatment. A case example will be used to show how concepts from Freud, Winnicott, Bromberg, and Hoffman can be applied and to complicated grief and how understanding and embodying the sacred rhythm of incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection facilitates mourning. Particular attention will be given to how the bodily aspects of grief and loss come to life in the therapeutic couple. |
