Au sujet d’un mot prétendûment introuvable dans les dictionnaires
The existence of the word ǧaytar which nominates small-sized persons has been formally refuted by Werner Diem simply because he did not find it in any dictionary. Yet this term is attested in some medieval Arabic lexicography works.
