Summary:The article discusses a school field trip of West Bank Palestinian college students to the Auschwitz, Poland concentration camp, so as to engender feelings of empathy for the suffering of Jewish other experienced during the Holocaust. Palestinian students who attended the field trip's attitudes towards the relationship between the Holocaust and their own history of suffering from Israeli occupation is discussed.
