The question about evolved natural conditions for, and concrete historical content of, religion is addressed from both the point of view of Schleiermacher’s philosophy of religion, and N. Barrett’s integrative scientific critique of CSR. The present argument suggests that more emphasis should be on the concrete experiences articulated in a religious context, and accordingly, also more openness for a perspective on religion that allows for a first- and second-person perspective. | ||
| 520 | |a Neuere Studien, die die evolutionären Ansätze des menschlichen Lebens thematisieren, darunter der sogenannte Cognitive Science of Religion (CSR), weisen auf eine Vielzahl von natürlichen Voraussetzungen für Religion hin. Diese Studien geben neue Impulse für die Diskussion über eine so genannte natürliche Religion aus einem nicht-theologischen Blickwinkel. Diese neuen Einsichten verändern die Bedingungen für das Verständnis von Religion im Allgemeinen. Die Frage nach den natürlichen Voraussetzungen und dem konkreten historischen Inhalt der Religion werden hier sowohl aus der Perspektive der Schleiermacherschen Religionsphilosophie entwickelt, als auch aus N. Barretts Kritik der wissenschaftlichen Voraussetzungen der CSR. Das vorliegende Argument plädiert dafür, dass die konkreten Erfahrungen in einem religiösen Kontext mehr umfassend artikuliert werden müssen, und dementsprechend auch der ersten- und zweiten-Person-Perspektive in der Religion mehr Offenheit entgegen gebracht werden muss, als es im Moment in CSR der Fall ist. | ||
