Zusammenfassung:Introducing the topic with a personal story highlighting the complex issues faced when dealing with children and Christian missions, the first section defines who counts as a child reads better and screens the scriptural references to Jesus and children. Sections two and three list what happened in the history of Christianity with regard to minors from earliest times to the present. Section four documents the actual impact Christian missions had on children and their lot, while the fifth looks at structures, strategies, and concepts at work in respective programs. The last part followed by a summarizing conclusion, addresses questions arising for a missiology for all of God’s people when the focus is on children.
