Description
Résumé:In present-day Germany, the religious traditions of immigrants become more and more important. They form an integral part of the pluralistic setting of modern cities. Referring to classical models of religious institutions, the author analyses the specifics of these processes. Based on a secondary analysis of a communitystudy (edited by Abena Bernasko und Stefan Rech in August 2003) the author compares the institutional developments of Christian and Muslim groups in the local setting of Frankfurt / Main. On this basis, he elaborates on the notion of ›Community-Church‹ and emphasises its importance for the analysis of the present- day religious scene.
